It did comfort him a bit but that couldn't repair his hard work. The older one couldn't help but feel ashamed and guilty so he decided to kiss OMORI on the cheek and hug him. The monochrome boy had tears prickling at a corner of his eye. SUNNY took notice of that, looking at OMORI. While he was laying on his stomach since he wanted to continue drawing, he remembered that him being startled by the older one ruined his drawing. OMORI sighed and decided to do what SUNNY begged for. He was used to the temperature of WHITE SPACE so he didn't need it, but SUNNY begged him to come to him, saying that "it would make him feel better" (in reality he just wanted to cuddle with him). The monochrome boy saw that SUNNY was too cold to put it on so he decided to do it.
Since none of this was real and this was all in the teenager's head, a blanket appeared, of course it was white. WHITE SPACE has always been cold and OMORI is even colder, making the older one shiver. SUNNY got off of him and layed next to him. Although they did this a couple of times it was like they've never done this before. The two stayed like that for a bit until SUNNY planted a kiss on OMORI's forehead which made the younger one hug him tighter and burried his head in his chest. After a few struggles the monochrome boy finally managed to hug him back. The older one chuckled at him which made OMORI's cheeks darken, he felt vulnerable, but he was around SUNNY. OMORI was trying to hug him back so he turned around, but he ended up in a weird position. "Thank you." SUNNY whispered, thanking OMORI for being his eternal protector, hiding THE TRUTH away from him (even though it didn't really work out thanks to BASIL) and always being there for him. After he turned around and saw SUNNY he calmed down a bit, OMORI thought that maybe it was STRANGER or heck, maybe even SOMETHING. OMORI was startled at this, random lines from his black crayon scribbled all over his sketch. The 16 year old approached the younger boy and hugged him from behind. He guessed that his alter ego hadn't noticed him arriving yet, so he decided to startle him a bit. He was laying on his stomach with his feet in the air like a little kid, swinging them back and forth. As he looked around he saw OMORI sketching. SUNNY woke up in WHITE SPACE for the millionth time.
